Thread Chek 2000 - Digital
Although the TC2000 Thread Chek system was originally designed as a modular thread verification system for metal parts, it can be used to check any machined detail including threaded holes, studs, snap ring groves, splines, etc. It can also test for part presence and orientation such as weldnuts, bearings and bushings. This system utilizes one module which is connected to one eddy current sensor for each feature being tested. Modules and sensors can be added to test an unlimited number of features. Each module has a relay contact which can be easily interfaced to a PLC. We can also configure the system to supply a single relay output for the entire system. The versatility of these modules allows our thread verification system to check multiple features on a single part or to check a single feature on multiple parts. bration of the thread verification system is simple. Place the sensor in a known good part. Zero the display using the potentiometer on the upper right side of the module. Then place the sensor in a known bad part, note the reading and dial in a value (on the thumb wheel switch) about half way between the two readings. This module is now calibrated. After calibrating each module the thread verification system is ready to run.
